APPNA Sponsors Children Camp
APPNA sponsors Hurricane-Affected Children camp invention
A week-long summer program of National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation (501C3 not for profit organization). This popular program focuses on making learning fun and on fostering the spirit of invention amongst participants. The program primarily focuses on children entering grades 1-6.
APPNA was approached by the City of Germantown Tennessee to help defer the cost of participation in this program for children from hurricane-affected areas, currently settled in greater Memphis and enrolled in public schools. The request for funds was overwhelmingly approved by the SWDRC of APPNA. The money has been released to Camp Invention for immediate funding of either 10 full- or 20 half-scholarships for hurricane-affected children.
